Vous vous dites que la fonction offerte par Google Gears est bien sympathique et vous d\u00e9cidez d&rsquo;adapter votre site avec cette technologie&#8230; quelques mois plus tard, patatra, \u00e7a ne marche plus !<\/p>\n<p>A mon sens, il faut en titer plusieurs le\u00e7ons :<\/p>\n<p>Avant d&rsquo;adopter une techno, il est tr\u00e8s important de s&rsquo;assurer de sa p\u00e9rennit\u00e9. A chaque fois qu&rsquo;on part sur une techno trop jeune, on prend le risque que \u00e7a soit instable.<\/p>\n<p>Il faut pr\u00e9voir des plans B : sur GMail en l&rsquo;occurrence, le mode off-line n&rsquo;est plus actif, mais ce mode est d\u00e9sactiv\u00e9 automatiquement si Google Gears n&rsquo;est pas install\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p>Enfin, j&rsquo;aimerais bien savoir pourquoi Google ne tient pas le rythme des mises \u00e0 jours pour un produit aussi central que Google Gears&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Derni\u00e8re remarque : le Web est un environnement qui est tr\u00e8s \u00ab\u00a0mouvant\u00a0\u00bb : <strong>chaque mise \u00e0 jour d&rsquo;un navigateur doit \u00eatre suivie de pr\u00e8s par les e-marchands, pour s&rsquo;assurer que le service est toujours nickel<\/strong>, sur un parc le plus large possible.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Je vous avais parl\u00e9 de l&rsquo;option de GMail, qui permet de lire ses mails en mode off-line.
